The Chameleon

One of the strangest creatures on earth is the chameleon. Most people know it as a lizard that can change its color at will. It actually changes color depending on its environment and its mood. The closest human counterpart  to it is someone who has learned to be anything someone wants to accomplish what that person  wants to do. Con men do this to cheat people by gaining their victim's trust before they begin fleecing them. Expert con men have taken the practice to such a high degree of sophistication that it has almost become an art form.

Among the most successful practitioners of this art form is the modern day politician.  While running for office, he must gain the confidence (hence the name con man) of his victims (the voters). For several weeks or months, he (or she) campaigns to gain the trust of the voters by proposing anything he thinks will strike a familiar note with them. Phrases like "peace in our time" and "a chicken in every pot" are meaningless expressions of ideas likely to be popular with voters. "Reduce taxes" and "full employment" are two popular ideas that everyone likes but that any thinking human knows will never be attained. All these promises work best when espoused by a smooth talking individual who presents himself as honest and trustworthy.

There exists in the present day political arena, the queen of political chameleons,  Hillary Clinton. Not only is she one of the slickest confidence people to come on the scene in the last 100 years, she is a pathological liar of such magnitude that one news reporter recently declared, "I don't think she knows the difference between the truth and a lie."

FBI Director James Comey spent 14 minutes laying out what the FBI had discovered about Hillary Clinton during its yearlong investigation. Comey directly refuted several of Clinton's statements made on public TV by stating they were not true. Between her lies and her gross negligence in handling classified material, Hillary Clinton has proven herself unfit to be in possession of any classified material. To say that she was unaware of proper handling procedures flies in the face of reason. Hillary spent 8 years in the Senate, 8 years in the White House, and 4 years as Secretary of State. In every one of these positions she was briefed on proper procedures and required to sign a document stating that she had been briefed on proper handling of classified material.

One of the most egregious actions by Hillary Clinton was the repeated use of portable communication devices while she was in foreign countries, especially those in the middle east. Any foreign agent would know in an instant that the devices she used were transmitting everything out into cyberspace. One look at the devices she was using would have enabled them to record everything she was transmitting. Even friendly powers would love to have the information she was broadcasting to the world - not to cause us harm but simply to gain some economic advantage over US companies.

The use of handheld devices is tantamount to shouting to the world, "Good morning. This is Hillary Clinton. I am sending out US Government secrets today. All you have to do is record this transmission and you will know everything I know. There is no charge for this service. It is free, compliments of Hillary Clinton." What our enemies learned is uncertain. What is certain is that Hillary Clinton put her personal convenience ahead of the lives of Americans at home and abroad. By that act alone she has rendered herself unfit to possess any classified material, let alone become the Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces.

She is unfit to be President of the United States.
