Boehner, McConnell Funded Planned Parenthood

Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.
John Boehner and Mitch McConnell just shielded the rest of the RINOs and killed a vote to defund Planned Parenthood.
Yesterday, Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) submitted an amendment to the highway funding bill making its way through the Senate. The amendment was designed to defund Planned Parenthood. Because of the way the rules are structured, it takes just 51 votes to vote-down a proposed amendment like this. Since there are only 46 Democrats in the Senate, that meant that 5 Republicans would have had to vote against the amendment to have it removed from the bill.
McConnell and his allies saw that and were terrified. The only way to kill this amendment would be for at least five Republicans to go on the record and support an organization caught selling body parts from aborted children.
Senator Lee asked for a recorded vote to put opponents on record. McConnell ignored the request and settled for a voice vote – meaning both sides yell out yea or nay and McConnell gets to decide which side is louder. When the dust settled, McConnell determined that there were more than 51 Senators in opposition and the amendment was voted down. A formal vote was never held.
Do you see how sinister this is? The GOP has abandoned us, plain and simple.
Mitch McConnell went out of his way to kill an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood and John Boehner actually ended the Congressional session without voting on the bill either. It’s time to remove these men from power immediately!
Every day that Congress avoids defunding Planned Parenthood means that more money is funneled into this heinous organization.
The Organization’s executives were caught on camera haggling over the price of aborted children. Not once, not twice, but three times. And the group behind the videos promised that there are many more on the way. For God’s sake, Planned Parenthood doctors have admitted that in order to collect intact “specimens,” they have to dismember the children while they are still alive.
Let that sink in. It’s disgusting. They rip these children apart, limb from limb, and keep them alive during the process (which is not medically necessary) all because they want to preserve viable organs and tissue to sell. These people are barbarians and because Mitch McConnell and John Boehner are spineless, your tax dollars continue to subsidize this.
The cases against John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are strong. Any number of reasons could be given to remove them from power and they would all be justified.
But this is just too far. Both John Boehner and Mitch McConnell promised that if they were given the reins, Congress would operate differently. They both committed to defunding this butcher shop but when given the opportunity to, they ran with their tails between their legs.
What have we gotten? Nothing but business as usual. Boehner and McConnell are indistinguishable from Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. They are quite literally Republicans-In-Name-Only and it is time to put real Conservatives in charge.
Earlier this week, we bombarded Congress with over 100,000 faxes demanding that Boehner and McConnell be removed from power and replaced. But that was before this most recent betrayal. It is time to double down and FORCE Congress to replace these RINOs with real Conservatives!
